For those of you who are past the point of returning to school/college, or havemaxed out the upward climb on your current job ladder, or just can't luck into any other way to pursue a higher income, STOP!! LOOK!! and LISTEN!!
One of the few options available to the average person is Network Marketing.Once you've found a company you can believe in and afford, you're ready to start. Google 'network marketing' to see how many people have pursued success in this manner over the past 30 years and have come out millionaires.
I tried and failed once at marketing, so I learned the hard way what it takes to bea success:
I'm here to share my knowledge and experience to help you avoid the steep partof the learning curve where many people jump in, spend money, attempt to do the business, lose money, then get discouraged and quit. It is this negative feedback loop that leaves many people believing it doesn't work and even complaining it's a scam. In the case of a reputable company, there is no scam--- only an opportunity to turn hard work into a self-perpetuating money machine.
Did I say work?? YES! The reason I may say a business is "easy" is not to saythere's no work, but that with alot of hard work up front, the opportunity to build a business that produces residual income in the future is available to EVERYONE.
This is the reason we pursue network marketing: a continual stream of incomegenerated by the business compensation plan. Building a strong foundation of successful members--your business partners--means everyone's efforts supports each other as well as the business as a whole. The more members, the stronger the business, the greater the product sales, and the more lucrative the returns for all. Once your business has been built to the point that it not only sustains itself financially, but actually returns a profit, you will realize that profit whether you actively sell products or not: ahhhh.....making money while you're sleeping or sunning yourself at the beach.....yes, that's why this sort of comment isn't hype---it's quite real.
First, you will be asked to sign up-- your personal information is necessary inorder to send you money as well as account for these payments to the IRS. This is where it pays to do your research, so that you know the people to whom you divulge this information are reputable, and not scam artists trying to steal your identity.
Second, you are placed into the "tree", or whatever structure the compensationplan has set up for your particular business. You'll see terms like "binary", "matrix", "unilevel". The person who sponsors you is your immediate "upline", and anyone you sponsor personally or who falls under you in your own tree become your "downline". Your downline will look to you for guidance and information, and of course you will look to your upline for the same.
Third, you spend time getting very familiar with your company's website/backoffice/ replicated sites. Use all available online resources to familiarize yourself with the company's policies, products, structure and comp plan. This will make you a valuable resource to your downline as well as a more effective member/ sponsor.
Fourth, get busy getting the word out about your company/ productsIMPORTANT POINT: your duty is to attract other people to your business, then direct them to an expert source of information, or "tool". Tools includes live calls, meetings, webinars, recorded calls, DVDs, brochures and expert upline members. You are NOT expected to explain the business or to do your own presentation---even when you invite others to hear a presentation at your home, you are supposed to use tools (DVD or recorded calls) provided by the company. This lets you DUPLICATE effectively, and to teach others to DUPLICATE. Duplication means everyone is saying the same thing in the same manner. It is the key to creating a successful downline. You will not only attract more people, but also KEEP more people if they realize all they have to do is what you're doing. Simple presentations are less intimidating, therefore more duplicatable, and much more likely to attract new members.
Finally, you will sign up new people, and these will become your "enrollees"-- orpeople you personally sponsor. The more people you sponsor, the more financial benefits you will be entitled to according to the compensation plan. But keep in mind, it's not just about numbers. You want to follow up with your enrollees to be sure they are duplicating properly and that they achieve success as well. Remember, your success is directly affected by the success of those around you!!
